This place is very nice. Staffs were so friendly and kind to give us the interesting knowledges of Alpaca and their farm planning. Our kid was fun and excited to feed the food to Apacas. Thank you very much!👍

I had such a fun time visiting Alpaca Acres and meeting Al, Bruno, Charlie, and especially Malbec. Malbec was my favorite. So much fun!

We had the privilege of visiting Alpaca Acres Farm & Fiber today in Oakland, Maryland.

It was a last minute visit and the owners graciously allowed us to schedule a visit during this challenging time of COVID19.

We were introduced to their female Alpacas first and were given food to feed them. There were two babies, each about 4months and several adult females, 3 which are pregnant and due next year. We learned the positive “pregnancy test”, a few weeks after their mating, is when the female spits on the responsible male.

Then we met the male Alpacas and fed them, too! We were lucky as both sets of Alpaca were enthusiastic about the treats we fed them. Such a rare treat and highly recommend visiting, especially families with children.

A big thank you to Alpaca Acres Farm & Fiber for a specially enjoyable and educational visit!
